The Rutgers Online Bachelor of Science in Labor and Employment Relations degree-completion program is designed for individuals who have earned two or more years of college credits. It is possible to transfer up to 60 credits from a 2-year college, and up to 90 credits from a 4-year college, or a combination of 2 and 4-year colleges you attended previously. You’ll study how the world of work is changing today and how that affects employees and our society. In the process you will gain expertise relevant to successful employment across a wide variety of fields. You’ll have considerable choice in what you study: human behavior in organizations, diversity/inclusion issues, employment law, workplace leadership, collective bargaining, using emotional intelligence, labor history, and/or professional development strategies.

The online Audit Analytics Certificate Program is designed to be a self-contained set of non-matriculated courses that can be taken by self -actualizing professionals that need to update their analytics skills and promote change in the profession towards a modern audit.

The 9-credit, non-degree graduate certificate in Educational Technology offered at the GSE is designed to prepare educators to effectively integrate current and developing technologies into various learning environments. The program is available to students currently enrolled in a master’s or doctoral program at Rutgers University, as well as non-matriculated candidates that already hold a bachelor’s degree. The intended audience includes teachers, college or university instructors, school administrators, or other interested parties who want to learn more about the use of web-based technologies in educational contexts.

The 12-credit, non-degree graduate certificate in Gifted Education offered at the GSE is designed to help New Jersey educators, districts, and parents meet the challenges of educating gifted learners. This special program draws on input from district superintendents, teachers, parents, the Educational Information and Resource Center, and the statewide advocates, including the New Jersey Association for Gifted Children. The curriculum, developed in alignment with state and national standards, addresses the social and emotional development of the gifted child, curriculum design and implementation, pedagogy, instructional strategies, and the development and administration of a gifted education program. All courses in the program are 7-weeks long, so teachers can finish in one academic year!

The certificate program will prepare you to sit for the Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) exam sponsored by the Association of Government Accountants. If you decide to matriculate later on, these courses can be applied toward the 10-course master’s degree program.

Pioneered by scholars in education and school psychology, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) is a framework for providing comprehensive academic and behavioral health services for K-12 students. an 18-credit certificate program and a 30-credit master’s degree in applied psychology focused exclusively on MTSS in school settings. The 18-credit certificate program has been designed for current or future professionals in education (e.g., general or special educators, instructional leaders, administrators, counselors, psychologists, or other support professionals) who are looking to become change agents in their schools or districts.

The certificate program is designed to educate students in the area of Clinical Trial Management. Students learn the key aspects of Clinical Trial design and conduct and have the opportunity to be trained in the fundamentals of Regulatory Affairs. Students will also gain an understanding of the drug development process and have the opportunity to take a business course, such as project management. If a student chooses to continue their studies to pursue the MBS degree with a concentration in Drug Discovery and Development, all credits earned are transferable to the MBS degree, pending approval to the graduate program.

The certificate in science and technology management provides business and business-oriented courses intended to supplement training in a science, mathematics, or engineering degree. Students who already possess a graduate degree in science, mathematics, or engineering may also apply independently for the certificate program. Individuals who have worked in industry for at least five years are eligible to apply for the certificate program as part-time students.

The Bilingual/Bicultural non-degree endorsement online program is designed for individuals who possess a New Jersey Standard teaching certificate or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS) in mathematics, science, social studies, English as a second language, or elementary education and who wish to earn the Bilingual/Bicultural endorsement. Candidates will be recommended for the Bilingual/Bicultural endorsement upon completion of the 12-credit program. All 12 credits in the endorsement program must be completed online at Rutgers University.

The non-degree English as a Second Language (ESL) endorsement program offered at the GSE provides candidates with a foundational understanding of English language learning in K-12 settings; of English language instruction and assessment strategies; and of the relationships between language and culture in multilingual and diverse communities. The program is usually completed exclusively online and is designed for individuals who already possess a New Jersey Standard Teaching Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS) in a content field or elementary education. Candidates holding a New Jersey Certificate of Eligibility (CE) must successfully complete both their 15-credit program and an alternate route program prior to being recommended for the ESL endorsement.
