The AI in Healthcare Certificate (AIHC) program is geared towards individuals who wish to enhance their current professional competencies and skills with adequate and hands-on knowledge of AI and Data science concepts and techniques for leadership, research, consultancy positions. The program is specifically designed to quickly build up competencies in this exciting new field, especially for those seeking professional advancement, consultancy opportunities, or topical knowledge for their research projects and grants. Graduates of the program will be able to communicate and collaborate effectively on AI projects with health personnel, computer scientists, engineers, health researchers, policymakers, as well as patients and consumers alike.

The Healthcare Informatics Certificate Program is specifically designed to quickly build up competencies in this exciting new field especially for those seeking a career change or advancement. Graduates of the Certificate program will be able to help identify information technology needs in their work environment, select appropriate off-the-shelf technological solutions and make modifications necessary to accomplish both generic and health specialty related activities.  They can effectively participate in strategic planning teams on institutional/organizational policies and investments of information technology in patient care and treatment systems, patient management systems and such. *Note* Starting Fall 2025, the program will be relaunched as the "AI in Healthcare Certificate" program.

The Certificate of Health Information Management will prepare you for the business side of healthcare. You’ll learn informatics, quality assurance, compliance, medical coding, and management. Upon graduating, you will be eligible to sit for the national credentialing examination to become a Registered Health Information Administrator RHIA). Credentialed graduates hold positions in data management, finance, compliance, health record management, and other areas.
